Davide Morosinotto, Italy

Davide Morosinotto, born 1980 in Camposampiero, northern Italy, studied communications and literature in Bologna and graduated with a thesis on American science fiction author Philip K. Dick. He started writing early in life and has now published 30 children's and young adult books, including very successful science fiction novels. His main interest, however, is history, which he brings to life in exciting children's novels told in the tradition of classic American adventure stories. With his novel The Mississippi gang, which has already been translated into 14 languages, he has now achieved an international breakthrough. As one of the most successful children's book authors in his country, Davide Morosinotto also uses his prominence to fight against cyberbullying and the abuse of social networks. The author lives in Bologna.Davide Morosinotto will be accompanied by Virginia Maiorino, translator and journalist from Berlin.
