Sarah Crossan was born in Ireland and now lives with her family in England after a long stay in the USA. Before exclusively started writing, she studied philosophy, literature and creative writing and worked as a teacher. Her novels were nominated for the British Carnegie Medal, are awarded with the LUCHS (Die ZEIT and Radio Bremen) and are also included in the list of "Best 7" (Deutschlandradio).

Sarah Crossan's books offer space for identification and invite the reader to discuss current issues such as climate change, social justice and migration.
