Willkommen bei den Grauses: Wer ist schon normal? (engl.: Welcome to the Grauses: Who can be called normal?)

It is Friday, the 13th, of all days, when Ottillie looks out her window at the house with the number 13 opposite her own and sees five figures hustle into the so-called ghost house. Just a dream? The next morning, she finds her father in the kitchen baking a Bundt cake for the new neighbours, the Grauses. Ottilie is rather timid and not at all happy to be asked to deliver the cake herself, as she prefers reading books and does not like to talk, especially with strangers. The Grauses, however, are fascinatingly different, each and every one of them in their own endearing manner. Hence the shy Ottilie comes to trust her neighbours: Muh with the horns on his head, the tame werewolf Wolfi and little Husch, who as a ghost usually remains invisible. At the Fata-Morgana School for Unusual Creatures, Muh and Wolfi are supposed to learn how to become normal.
“Willkommen bei den Grauses” is a whimsical, quirky story about family, friendship and the question of what is normal and what is not.
